Crystal structure of sintered tabular alumina
Sintered tabular alumina is tabular shape aluminum oxide. The sintering process of tabular alumina is a process of rapid cooling and rapid heating. The sintering temperature rapidly drops from 1950°C to about 400°C. The crystal structure is tabular flat with fully developed alumina. The crystal size is generally 20-40um, and the distribution is uniform with a large number of closed pores. This structure can prevent the slag from infiltrating the refractory products. On the other hand, it improves the corrosion resistance, toughness, and wear resistance of the products.
