APPLICATIONS

Coating & Adhesives

Hollow glass microspheres, in heat-insulating and noise-reducing putties and thermal insulation coatings, utilize their hollow, closed-cell structure to form an air insulation layer, reflecting ultraviolet rays and heat, effectively reducing the thermal conductivity. As an ingredient in wood-plastic flooring and insulation boards, they also enhance compressive strength, improve sound insulation, and improve coating smoothness.

Adding them to silicone sealants and adhesives reduces adhesive density, improves thermal insulation properties, and enhances bonding strength and aging resistance. Simultaneously, it reduces resin usage, lowering production costs.

As an additive in anti-corrosion zinc-rich primers, it reduces the emission of harmful substances in the coating, lowering VOC levels. Importantly, it reduces primer porosity, prevents coating collapse, improves corrosion resistance, and reduces warping and shrinkage during film formation.

Overall, it balances lightweight, heat insulation and noise reduction, and mechanical stability, widely meeting the comprehensive requirements of energy conservation, corrosion resistance, and environmental protection in building and industrial coatings.
