Sandblasting Media Glass beads 60mesh 80mesh is an ideal blasting media for surface treatment and finishing. It was made from glass sand which crushed by glass blocks and plate glass,fused by high tempreture in the electric furnace.Glass beads is in low heat conduction,nice strength,good chemical stability. Blasting glass beads is suitable for metal and nonmetallic material blasting without hurt on the substrate.

Application:
Mainly using for the surface sandblasting and shot blasting of metals,glass,rubber and plastics,acrylic,and can avoid the workpieces be damaged.
Glass beads are a reusable abrasive and are mainly used in blast rooms and blast cabinets. Glass beads contain no free iron to cause corrosion on non-ferrous surfaces, therefor glass beads are very suitable to use on all types of metals. Since it doesn’t create an anchor profile, it is mainly used to clean a substrate without roughening it or to polish the surface. Glass beads also can blasting with compressed air.
