Tabular corundum castales 325F r, which is sintered and completely shrink without adding any additive, such as MgO or B2O3, with coarse crystals and well-developed Al2O3 crystal structure. The tabular crystal structure is characterized by narrow pores, with more closed porosity, almost the same apparent porosity compare with fused corundum, high purity, good stability volume density, tiny refiring shrink. Tabular alumina is the leading synthetic high-purity alumina aggregate because of its high refractoriness, excellent thermal shock resistance, creep resistance, and wear resistance.
